Londres!

No outro dia andei a arrumar o computador e então vasculhei tudo o que tinha para aqui. Como também andei a mexericar na minha pasta de imagens, foi aí que deparei-me com a velhinha pasta da minha viagem a Londres.

É esquisito pensar que faz 5 anos que fiz essa viagem, quando apenas parece que foi há 1 ano ou 2. É ainda mais esquisito ver-me nas fotos com 16 anos, gorducha, cabelo nojento e um ser humano basicamente grotesco. Mas enfim, nem todos nós podemos ser abençoados pela puberdade. 

I decided to clean my computer the other day and because of that I had to go through all my files in order to put everything on its place. And that's when I came accross my old file with pics from my trip to London.

It's weird to think that was 5 years ago when it only seems 1 or 2 years. It's even more awkward to see me with 16 years-old, fattie, gross hair and basically a ridiculous human being. But, oh well, not all of us can be thankful to puberty.

Hospital St.Mary's Hospital ou, como prefiro chamar, Hospital-Onde -Um-Dia-Irei-Dar-À-Luz-Os-Meus-Filhos. Ficava perto do hotel onde dormimos. E olhem só o pópó todo querido!!

Hospital St.Mary's Hospital or, as I like to call it, the Hospital-Where-I-Will-Give-Birth-To-My-Kids-One-Day. It was pretty close to the hotel where we stayed. And look at the cute car!!

Tirada num parque qualquer, com um nome qualquer que me recuso a levantar para ir ver o nome. Apesar de ter ido na primavera, podem ver que o tempo por aqueles lados é sempre bastante agradável! hahah

Olhem para o casal fofinho no banco! Quando eu for velhinha e reformada (gosto de pensar que vou ter reforma, ok?) também vou ser como aquela velhinha na foto. Vou arrastar o meu marido até ali e vai ter que levar comigo até morrer de ataque cardíaco.

Picture taken at some park which name I refuse to get up and go search for it. Despite being already spring when I went there, you can clearly see how british weather seems to be lovely! hahah

And look at the cute couple at the bench! When I get old and retired (I like to think I'll have retirement, ok?) I'm gonna be like that old lady on the picture. I'm gonna  drag my husband to the park and make him put up with me until he dies with an heart attack.

Na estação onde gravaram os filmes do Harry Potter. Daria o nome correcto da estação mas, novamente, estou com demasiada preguiça para ir verificar o nome.

At the train station where Harry Potter movies were recorded. I'd give you the right name of the place but, again, I'm too lazy to go check it.

Foto tirada na ponte da mesma estação das fotos anteriores. Estava em obras como podem ver, já que as gravações do filme começariam pouco tempo depois. Foi neste local que, no primeiro filme, o Harry olhava para o bilhete, comentava que aquela plataforma não existia e o chato do Hagrid desaparecia. Só é mesmo pena que o homem voltasse sempre nos restantes livros!

This was taken again at the same station. As you can see, there were some works there, the filmings were gonna start a few months later. This was the place where, in the first movie, Harry looks at his ticket, says something about how that platform doesn't exist and the boring Hagrid disappears. Shame he appears in all the followed books.

Gosto tanto desta foto. Foi desde sempre a minha favorita! O trabalho dos senhores polícias por aqueles lados deve ser bem mais divertido.

Tower Bridge - e sim, só me lembro do nome por causa da foto seguinte. É daquelas pontes que uma pessoa chega lá e só diz "Olha, afinal existe mesmo na vida real!". Culpa dos filmes. 

Tower Bridge - and yes, I only remember the name because of the next photo. It's one of those bridges that when we see it live the only thing we say is "Look, it really exists in real life!". I blame the movies.

Gosto tanto de dizer adeus quando vejo destes autocarros lá no Porto. Mas isso deve ser por ser a tótó que sou.

 I like to wave goodbye when I'm in Porto and I see these buses. But maybe that's just me being a dork as always.

Hamleys - basicamente, o Toys 'R Us para quem tem melhor gosto, classe e dinheiro no bolso. O pessoal por aqueles lados tem que ser sempre mais chique!

Hamleys - basically, a Toys 'R Us for those with better taste, class and money in the pockets. People in that city seems to have the need to be more chic!

 Fotos como esta faz-me quase ter pena do pessoal que tem que tirar a carta de condução em Londres. Depois penso que isso significa que eles VIVEM em Londres...e deixo de ter pena.

Pictures like this makes me almost sorry for those who have to take their driving lessons in London. But then I think that means they LIVE in London...and I'm not sorry anymore.

A casa onde vou viver com o meu Príncipe Harry. Preferia o William, mas como esse já se foi fica-se com o prémio de consolação. 

The house where I'm gonna live with Prince Harry. I liked William better but, since he's already taken and out of the market, I guess I'll have to satisfy myself with the second best option.

E como extra, a porta de trás do teatro onde fomos e onde o Dan teve a dar autógrafos enquanto o porcalhão do pai dele se armava em guarda-costas.
