We are the champions!!

Estou tão contente! Hoje tive que ir tratar de uns assuntos a Aveiro e aproveitei e pus a conversa em dia com pessoal conhecido. Ora, esse podia ser perfeitamente o motivo de estar contente mas, neste caso, refiro-me mesmo ao facto de ter conseguido resistir a McDonalds, Pizza Hutts, Companhia das Sandes, Kebabs e todas essas coisas gordurosas. Acabei mesmo por comer comidinha boa e saudável, embora ao inicio estivesse meio desgostosa. Sou daquelas pessoas magras mas com mente obesa, que quando vai a shoppings e afins sempre quer comer um pouco de tudo que seja comida de plástico. É por isso que para mim, ter comido um prato com comida mais a sério é assim uma espécie de vitória!

Vamos, porém, esquecer que estourei um pacote inteiro de gomas mal cheguei a casa. Pshiiiiiu...nada de dizer alguma coisa à minha consciência!

I'm so happy! Today I had to go to Aveiro to take care of a few issues, so I took the opportunity to catch up with a few old friends. Well, that could very well be the reason to be happy about but, the truth is, I'm actually happy because for the first time I was able to resist all those McDonalds, Pizza Hutts. Companhia das Sandes, Kebabs and all the other houses with fastfood offers. This time, I actually ate good and healthy food. At first I wasn't really glad about it, I'm the type of person who's skinny but with an obese mind. The type of person who basically wants to eat a little bit of everything while on shopping. This is why, the fact that I ate real food today is kind of a victory to me!

Lets just forget how I totally ate a full bag of candies when I arrived at home. Shuuuush...don't tell my conscience!

São lindinhas, não são? Estou totalmente de olho nelas. São uma boa imitação das verdadeiras, estão a bom preço e têm exactamente as minhas cores favoritas para usar na Primavera! Oh, meus amores, venham a mim...

Real dolls, aren't they? I've already my eyes on them. They look like the real ones, the price is great and those are most definitely my favorite colours to wear during spring! Oh, come to me...

O Verão está a chegar e...

...precisa-se de algo que disfarce a banha de porco extra que encontramos aqui e ali. Ora, na minha opinião, não há coisa mais bonitinha que um trikini. É realmente uma pena não podermos usar diariamente sem correr o resto de criar marcas ridículas pela barriga fora. Mas que são completamente adoráveis, lá isso são.

Summer's coming and we all need something to hide that extra fat, here and there. The type of fat meat that seems not able to disappear. In my opinion there's nothing cuter than a nice trikini. It's really a shame how we're not able to use them everyday without taking the risk of creating ridiculous tan marks on hour bellies. Either way, it's still an extremely adorable piece for our wardrobe.

A H&M é uma fixe!

Hoje fui tomar um cafézinho com antigas colegas do secundário. Não é como se não nos víssemos muito, mas é sempre bom sair um bocado de casa todos os dias e ver pessoas. Já disse que adoro ver pessoas?

Aproveitei também para dar um "passeio" nas umas promoções lá da H&M de Gaia. Acabei por trazer para casa um vestido e um par de calças que já muita falta me faziam. Não comprava um bom par de calças há imenso tempo e, verdade seja dita, já estava um bocadinho farta de andar sempre de vestidos e calções (sim, eu sei que é Inverno!). 

É só uma pena o facto de que, por uma qualquer razão desconhecida, o raio do vestido teima em ficar "sem sal" nas fotos. Mas provavelmente isso deve-se ao facto da qualidade do meu telemóvel não ser das melhores.

Today I went to have some coffee with old friends from high school. It's not like we don't see each other pretty often, but it's always good to get out of this house for a little bit, every day, and see some people.

And speaking of going out, I just remembered that yesterday I had took some advantadge of all the promotions H&M from Gaia is having. What I meant with this is that I had to take home with me a new dress and new pair of jeans. I don't remember buying jeans since a long time ago and I really needed a new pair. Truth be told, I was already getting tired of wearing dresses and shorts all the time (yes, I'm aware it's winter!). 

It's just a shame that, for some unknown reason, the dress insist on looking "not so good" on pictures. But maybe that's because my phone's camera hasn't the best quality.

Victoria's Secret

Está a chegar o meu aniversário! Pronto, ainda falta pouco mais que 3 meses, mas gosto de começar a pedir cedo porque normalmente não me dão o que quero. Provavelmente isso deve-se ao facto de eu ser chata e pedir sempre coisas caras e ridículas, mas também só o faço por brincadeira. Não é como se ficasse triste por não recebê-las! Mas mesmo assim, como gosto bastante das lingeries da Victoria's Secret faço na mesma uma wishlist da marca. 

My birthday is coming! Ok, there's still 3 months until then, but I like to start asking for presents sooner because I never get what I want. It's probably because I'm annoying when it comes to that and because I always ask for expensive and ridiculous stuff, but I only do it for fun anyway. It's not like I get sad for not having them! But still, since I really like Victoria's Secrets, it doesn't hurt to make my own wishlist of the brand.

A minha favorita é aquela cinzenta e comprida. Só odeio o facto de que como sou uma mera amostra de gente no que toca a altura e, para ajudar à festa, tenho uma anca larga, estou praticamente proíbida de usá-la! 

My favorite is definitely the grey and long one. I hate how I'm basically a poor excuse of a person when it comes to height and how my waist is too large to allow me to wear these type of skirts.

Eu quero!

Estou com uma profunda necessidade de ter um/uma camisolão/tshirt/camisa enorme. Daqueles tão grandes que se fosse enchido por água podíamos nadar ali no meio, que nem verdadeiros competidores olímpicos.

I'm in a deeply need to get my own big ass sweater/tshirt/blouse. The type of clothes so big that you could totally swim on it, like a true Olympic competitor, if it was full with water.

Há séculos que morro por ter um vestido com um corte nas costas exactamente como este. Se também tiver aqueles brilhantes é sempre visto como um agradável bónus. Caso haja alguém estiver interessado em fazer uma criança feliz, faço anos daqui a 5 meses e estou disposta a dar endereço para mandar presente. Podem também recorrer ao administrador da BTK app que é perito nesse tipo de informações.

I've been dying to have a dress like this one, with the exact same cut on the back. If it also has the shiny details I'll consider it a very nice bonus. Just in case someone's interested in making a child happier, my birthday will be in 5 months, and I'll gladly give an address to send the present. You can also ask it to the BTK admin who seems to be a pro when it comes to that kind of information.

Há algum tempo atrás disse algo sobre ter necessidade de gastar dinheiro quando não me sinto bem. Ora, parece karma, mas esse tipo de situações só aparece naquela altura do mês em que há tudo menos uns eurinhos extra na carteira, apenas para poder despachar.

Não é nada extremamente grade, apenas acho que só agora bati com o nariz contra realidade e está-me tudo a cair em cima. Mas que se dane, também pior é que não fica. Se pensar bem, até poderão nem ser tempos realmente difíceis, eu é que só estava habituada àqueles bons tempos. De qualquer das formas , é por tudo isto que qualquer um destes vestidos ficaria fofinho no meu guarda-fatos. O meu guarda-fatos é meio que mágico, arranja sempre um espacinho lá pelo meio, especialmente para estas coisas. Neste caso, tenho especial carinho pelo quatro primeiros vestidos. Não faço a mais pequena ideia de onde são, ou se sequer estão à venda, mas adoro motivos florais e a forma dos vestidos é simplesmente a ideal. Dá aquele toque feminino e adorável a qualquer mulher. Oh coisinhas mais lindas da mamã.

Some time ago I wrote something about my need to spend money when I'm not feeling at my best. Well, it looks like karma likes to kick me in the ass or something close to that. These type of situations only happends to me during that time of the month when there's no extra money to spend. 

It might not even be a very difficult time but I think that, only now, reality actually hit me in the face, figuratively speaking, and everything is falling over me. I'm trying to stay safe on my whatever-mood because it really can't get worse than already is but I really hoping for better times. And it's basically because of this whole situation that I definitely think that any of these dresses would look amazing on my wardrobe. I believe my wardrobe is magic! There's always a small space in there, especially when we're talking about these type of beauties. I'm developing a special love for the first four dresses. I've no idea where are they from or if they're even being sell anywhere, but I love floral dresses and the shapes are simply perfect. It totally gives the feminine touch which makes any woman adorable while wearing it. Oh, sweet little things, come to mama.

Só me dá vontade de apanhá-los numa loja e ficar lá a olhar para eles que nem uma tarada.

Prenda da mamã!

A minha rica mãe fez anos dia 9 e ontem lá aproveitei os saldos para lhe dar uma carteira nova. Nunca vi ninguém com tanto amor por carteiras mas, quem quer que lhe queira oferecer um presente, a mulher está sempre disponível para receber uma de braços e mala abertos. Em saldos esta riqueza ficou por €9,99 na Parfois. Comprei-lhe a versão verde que é muito mais vistosa e gira, mas como na loja online só tem fotos da versão azul-marinho não posso mostrar exactamente qual comprei já que a ela começou logo a usá-la. 

Mas garanto que em verde é mil vezes mais chique até porque, apesar de a ter oferecido apenas ontem, já comecei a rondá-la discretamente para ver se um dia destes também pode vir dar uma voltinha na minha mala. 

Two days ago it was my mother's birthday so I did some shopping sales to get her something cheap and useful. I ended up giving her a new wallet like always. I never saw anyone who loved wallets more than her. If any of you want to give her a gift, the woman is always pleased and with open arms to receive another one. This one I got was on sale for only €9,99 @Parfois. I bought her the green version which is way prettier and striking, but since there's only the dark blue version on their online story that's the only model I'll be able to show you. Mom's started using her present immediately, it was impossible for me to took a picture. But I assure you the green one is so much better! 

Despite the fact that I only gave it to her yesterday, I'm already scanning it discreetly to see if one of these days I can borrow her for a little while, it would look perfect on my bag. 

Saldos e mulheres.

Eu sempre soube que as mulheres, no seu geral, sofrem uma grande transformação durante a época dos saldos. Tal como as leoas protegem as suas crias, as mulheres protegem até aquela pequena camisola de €3 debaixo de 10Kg de roupa pousados no canto direito, bem ao fundo da loja. O que eu nunca pensei foi que as pessoas desaprendessem conceitos básicos de educação. 

Uma coisa básica, e bastante útil para o resto da vossa vida, acreditem em mim, é: "Com licença" pede-se ANTES do acto. "Com licença" e depois passa-se quando a pessoa der espaço. "Com licença" e fala-se quando a pessoa mostra estar com atenção. "Com licença" e pega-se só na peça depois da outra pessoa  a pousar. Não, não é empurrar e a meio do processo soltar um "com licença" para o ar, aí é um "Desculpe".

Mas nem tudo é mau nos saldos. Voltei da Zara com boas notícias! Desta vez os saldos trazem consigo roupa gira, e o vestido que andava a namorar à semanas desceu para €20. Pena é ter o dinheiro separado para o telemóvel senão aquela coisa jeitosa era já minha...

I always knew women, in general, suffered a major transformation during clothing sales. Like lionesses protect their youngs, women have the urge to protect even that old €3 sweater, hidden under 10Kg of other clothes, in the dark corner of the store. What I never thought was that people could actually unlearn the basics of education.

A very basic thing, which can be useful to the rest of yor life, believe me, is: "Escuse me" is asked BEFORE the act. You say "Excuse me" and then you walk when the other person gives you space. You say "Excuse me" and talk when the other person is paying attention. You say "Excuse me" and  you only pick up the item when the other person already dropped it. No, it's not "Excuse me" AFTER pushing away the other person, that's an "I'm sorry" act.

But not everything is bad during this time of the year. I went to Zara and brought good news with me! This time we have nice clothes at lower prices, and the dress I've been in love with for the last couple of weeks is only €20 now. Too bad I already have my money saved for something I know I need more or else this gorgeous item would be mine already...

O que também me tem vindo a incomodar é este karma a tentar esfaquear-me nas costas! Pelo que estou a ver vou ter que adiar a compra do telemóvel mais um mês. Logo após ter decidido que era altura de comprar um telemóvel novo, já que o último que comprei foi à 6 ou 7 anos, Deus encarregou-se de me dizer "Vai com calma, mulher!" à sua própria maneira. O carro deixou de funcionar e cá em casa acreditamos ser problema do motor, a despesa da festa de final de ano vai ser superior porque afinal o pessoal precisa de mais bebidas, apareceram duas aniversariantes para dar presentes e amanhã tenho um almoço de amigos! Parece que estou a ver o meu rico telemóvel a correr para longe de mim....

What's also been bothering me is this horrible karma trying to stab me on my back! I'm almost 100% sure I'll have to delay another month my cellphone purchase. Right after I decided it was time to buy a new cellphone, since I bought the last one 6 or 7 years ago, God decided to arrive and tell me "Take it easy, woman!" in his own way. The car crashed and we suspect it might be an engine trouble, the New Years Eve will be more expensive since we all decided we needed more drinks for the night, two birthday people to give presents appeared and tomorrow I was invited to a lunch with friends! I can see my sweet cellphone running away from me...

Nada de especial mas dá para receber chamadas e mensagens, além de que é pequenino como eu. Serve para o gasto!

It's nothing special but it makes/receives calls and text messages, besides the fact that it's also really tiny like me. Enough for me!

Um presente para mim.

Este Natal consegui juntar algum dinheiro, dinheiro que provavelmente servirá para comprar um telemóvel novo, daqueles mais baratinhos só para remediar. Há muito tempo que andava com o antigo da minha mãe portanto já estava na hora de ganhar vergonha na cara e arranjar um para mim. Porém, obviamente que tinha que reservar umas moedinhas para a minha grande perdição: maquilhagem e derivados. Por apenas €5 trouxe para casa uma pequena bolsa com 5 vernizes e 5 lipglosses a combinar. Quando lhes pus a vista em cima e vi o preço, bateu logo a conexão e tiveram que ser meus. São exactamente as cores que precisava e que prefiro ver nas unhas portanto melhor não poderia ter sido. ;)

This Christmas I managed to save some money which will probably help me buying a new cellphone for myself, a cheap one just for some random use. I've been using my mom's older one since mine fucked up a long time ago, so it was definitely time to have some shame and buy my own. Despite all of this, of course I had to lay aside a few coins for my biggest temptation: makeup products. For only €5 I was able to buy a small makeup bag with 5 nail polish and 5 lipglosses to match it. When I saw it and noticed the price I immediately knew I had to have it. It's exactly the colours I wanted and need it so it sure couldn't have been better! ;)

Apesar de não serem de uma marca conhecida, no que toca a vernizes gostei bastante do efeito final nas unhas. Bastante mais brilhante e resistente que os vernizes que costumo usar, por isso vou ter que definitivamente manter os olhos nesta marca. Os lipglosses também são aceitáveis mas vou continuar fiel à minha H&M.

Although it isn't a very known brand, when it comes to nail polish I really liked the final result on my nails. They're a very bright and resistent nail polish compared to the ones I usually buy, I'll definitely keep an eye on this brand. The lipglosses were also acceptable but I'm still loyal to H&M when it comes to that.
